Andreas Vouros is an active researcher participating in National and European projects. In the last years he is a member of the Research Group of ECATS (Environmentally Compatible Air Transport System) Network of Excellence. His research interests lie in the field of turbulence, heat transfer, two-phase flows, and fluid mechanics–hydraulics, with applications in energy, environment, and aeronautics. He has more than 10 publications in international and refereed conferences whereas in the last years he is publishing in scientific journals. He is experienced in point measuring techniques for velocity, and temperature field measurements (HWA, LDV etc.). Currently, he is responsible for the activities on Fire Performance Characterization of Materials, supporting the accreditation procedure ISO 17025 in Cone Calorimeter measurements.
